Head of Pakistan's Shia Association condoles over martyrdom of President Raisi

Head of Pakistan's Shia Association Ayatollah Hafez Riaz Najafi, while expressing his sympathy for the heartbreaking accident of the helicopter carrying the revolutionary president and the martyrdom of several Iranian officials, offered his condolences to Ayatollah Arafi, the head of Iran’s seminary.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Head of Pakistan's Shia Association Ayatollah Hafez Riaz Najafi, while expressing his sympathy for the heartbreaking accident of the helicopter carrying the revolutionary president and the martyrdom of several Iranian officials, offered his condolences to Ayatollah Arafi, the head of Iran’s seminary.

Head of Pakistan's Shia Schools Association Ayatollah Hafiz Riyaz Hussain Najafi issued a message to the head of Iran’s seminary, Ayatollah Alireza Arafi to expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of Iranian President Hujjat al-Islam Raisi.

The text of the message is as follows:

The martyrdom of the honorable president of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, the honorable Friday Imam of Tabriz Hujjat al-Islam Ale-Hashem, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Amir Abdullahian, and other companions deeply affected me.

I offer my condolences to Imam Zaman (PBUH), the Supreme Leader of Islamic revolution, the noble nation of Iran, the seminaries and your Excellencies, and I ask God Almighty for forgiveness and exaltation for the deceased.

Please accept my condolences on behalf of the students of Pakistani seminaries.

I ask God Almighty for increasing success for your Excellency and those who serve Islam and Muslims, especially the seminaries.

It should be noted that a helicopter carrying President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdullahian crashed in a dense forest area in East Azarbaijan on Sunday.

The helicopter's passengers, including Ebrahim Raisi, Hossein Amir-Abdullahian, Iran's East Azerbaijan Province Governor Malek Rahmati, and Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Ale-Hashem, the representative of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution to East Azarbaijan Province, along with several other people were martyred in the incident.
