Sayed al-Safi reviews latest works of Umm al-baneen courtyard Project

The Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, was briefed on the latest work of the Umm al-Baneen Courtyard Project (Peace be upon her).

AhlulBayt News Agency: : The Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, was briefed on the latest work of the Umm al-Baneen Courtyard Project (Peace be upon her).

A member of the board of Directors of the holy shrine; Sayed Jawad al-Hasnawi, said that "the Senior Official of the holy shrine, His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, conducted a tour of the Umm Al-Baneen Courtyard Project(Peace be upon her) to see the latest works currently underway, from pouring the ceilings of the basements for the second stage and preparing for the third stage.

He added that"Sayed al-Safi directed to increase the pace of work on the project, which is being implemented by the Engineering Projects Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, while maintaining its quality to serve visitors".

Sayed al-Safi was accompanied on his tour of the project by the secretary general of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia-Uddin, a number of heads of departments at the holy shrine, as well as the director of the Office of His Eminence the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine, Dr. Afdhal al-Shami.

The area of the poured second stage is (2500) square meters, in which (800) cubic meters of concrete with standard specifications were used.

The second phase is part of the total project area of (20) thousand square meters, while the Engineering Projects Department has harnessed all its capabilities to complete the project within the plans and designs.

The project is being implemented by Ardh al-Quds Company for construction contracting (an Iraqi company) and funded by the Shiite endowment bureau, while the courtyard, once completed, will constitute a qualitative leap by accommodating visitors and reducing their momentum and providing services to them.
