AhlulBayt News Agency: The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organized an ethical course dedicated to raising children in Nigeria.
The course, which was supervised by the African Studies Center of the department, was held in the city of Nasarawa in the state of Nigeria, and witnessed a large attendance of women in the city.
One of the staff of the preaching unit of the center, Mr. Muslim al-Jaberi, said:"the Center for African Studies is constantly working to provide awareness and educational courses aimed at promoting Islamic and moral values in African societies."
He added that "the Center believes in the importance of these programs in spreading knowledge and promoting religious and moral awareness, and is keen that these courses are available to all, especially women and children, with the aim of building a society based on high Islamic principles".
He pointed out that"the course comes within the framework of the preaching caravan project in the African continent launched by the center in conjunction with the summer holidays, as it sent a group of preachers to their countries after completing the stages of study at the Hawza in Najaf, and completing the qualifying courses held by the center".
