Yemeni resistance leader: See West's hypocrisy in supporting animal rights while ignoring Palestinian genocide

The leader of Yemen's Ansarullah, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, in his recent speech, referred to the war crimes committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza with US support and strongly criticized the absurd claim made by US President Joe Biden that the Zionist regime's actions in Gaza do not constitute genocide.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The leader of Yemen's Ansarullah, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, in his recent speech, referred to the war crimes committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza with US support and strongly criticized the absurd claim made by US President Joe Biden that the Zionist regime's actions in Gaza do not constitute genocide.

He said: "The killing of Palestinians on the roads, targeting their gatherings, and starving hundreds of people is not considered genocide by Biden. Destroying the healthcare system, preventing the entry of medicine, killing patients, and burying many of them alive, and targeting the disabled are not considered massacres by Biden. Displacing hundreds of people, pursuing and killing them in shelters, and targeting bakeries and water wells are not considered crimes by Biden."

Al-Houthi added: "It's not surprising that Joe Biden doesn't consider what's happening in Gaza as genocide, because Washington is a master of crime and has a history of it."

Regarding the US's establishment of a temporary marine base in Gaza, allegedly to send humanitarian aid to the people of the strip, he said: "The American floating base in the Gaza Strip is a military base, and Washington was exposed when it brought armored equipment and air defense systems to the region."

He further noted: "America wants to turn the Gaza Strip into a prison with a single entrance from the sea, which is monitored by American military personnel."

Al-Houthi also commented on the actions of Ireland, Norway, and Spain in recognizing Palestine's independence, saying: "The announcement by the three European countries to recognize Palestine's independence, although incomplete, is an important political step."

He said: "The West, which talks about the rights of cats and other animals, has been exposed for its participation in genocide crimes against humanity."

Al-Houthi noted, "The statement by the International Criminal Court's prosecutor, which equates the victim and the executioner, is utterly unfair."

He asked, "How can the prosecutor equate criminals like Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister and war minister of the Zionist regime, with Palestinian leaders who are defending their just cause and ideals?"

Al-Houthi also expressed condolences to the Islamic Republic of Iran over the martyrdom of its president, saying:

"Mr. Raeisi was different from other political leaders. Mr. Raeisi was a model in his position of responsibility and in his connection with his people, and this is an important lesson for other leaders. The massive turnout in Iran to participate in his funeral procession shows his positive relationship with his people, unlike many leaders around the world."

The Ansarullah leader continued: "The scope of Israel's international isolation is expanding, and the silence of some countries in the face of the Israeli enemy's heinous crimes is a great insult to humanity."

In the final part of his speech, he referred to the continuation of Yemen's naval operations against Zionist ships in support of Gaza, saying:

"This week, we carried out eight operations with 15 missiles and drones in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Indian Ocean."

He added: "One of our military operations this week was directed towards the Mediterranean Sea. The number of targeted ships has so far reached 119, related to Israeli, American, and British enemies."

Al-Houthi further stated: "This week, two American MQ-9 drones were shot down in the airspace of Marib and al-Bayda provinces."

He emphasized: "Our position in support of Palestine will continue, and our sense of responsibility as a Yemeni nation will not be diminished."
