Million-strong march in Yemen demands support for Gaza until victory

The capital of Yemen, Sana'a, has witnessed a million-strong march in support of the Palestinian people, calling for continued support for Gazans until their ultimate victory over the Israeli regime.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The capital of Yemen, Sana'a, has witnessed a million-strong march in support of the Palestinian people, calling for continued support for Gazans until their ultimate victory over the Israeli regime.

At Sana'a's Al-Sabeen Square, the massive crowds chanted slogans backing Yemen's stance in supporting the Palestinian people and vowed that they would not back down under pressure or threats.

The crowds raised Yemeni and Palestinian flags and banners denouncing the massacres and war of extermination waged by the US and the Israeli entity against the oppressed Palestinian people for more than seven months.

Some banners condemned the weak positions of some Arab and Islamic countries regarding the war on Gaza.

The million-strong crowds praised the operations carried out by the Yemeni armed forces in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Aden, Bab al-Mandab, and the Mediterranean Sea to prevent the passage of ships affiliated with Israel, the US, and the UK.

They also stressed that there are no red lines for the Yemeni armed forces and that any escalation will be met with escalation.

The rally-goers also offered condolences to the Iranian people for the martyrdom of President Ebrahim Raisi and his companions.

Similar rallies were held across the Arab country, including the governorates of Sa'ada, Ma'rib, and Rayma, all under the theme of "With Gaza… Stability of Position and Continuity of Jihad."

Muhammad Ali Al-Houthi, a member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, told the Sa'ada gathering that the path of jihad is the true path to achieving the Palestinian state. He hailed the Palestinian resistance factions, stressing that the Palestinian state would not be established without military operations.

He emphasized that the Zionists cannot grant the Palestinians a state, and it is impossible for Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his team to respond to that as it would mean the end of their political career.

"The state does not come except under the shadow of the cannons, missiles, and Katyushas carried out by the Palestinian jihadist resistance factions," he said.

This was the 32nd round of weekly pro-Palestine protests in Yemen, which started a few hours after Israel launched its genocidal onslaught on the besieged Gaza Strip.

Since October last year, the Yemeni armed forces have been launching attacks on targets in the occupied territories and targeting ships in the Red Sea with owners linked to Israel or those going to and from ports in the occupied territories in solidarity with the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Israel launched the war on Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas initiated the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in response to the Israeli regime's decades-long campaign of bloodletting and devastation against Palestinians.

The regime has also blocked water, food, and electricity to Gaza, plunging the coastal strip into a humanitarian crisis.

Since the start of the offensive, the Israeli military has killed at least 35,795 Palestinians and injured tens of thousands more, with most of the victims being women and children.
