*The Africa Federation Secretariat has received with deep shock and grief the news of the tragic helicopter crash in northwestern Iran on Sunday 19th May 2024 which resulted in the death of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Ebrahim Raisi alongside his Foreign Minister, Seyed Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and other senior officials, including the pilot, co-pilot and a crew member of the fateful helicopter*
*The funeral of the Late President Raisi and other victims of the helicopter crash will be held on Tuesday 21st May 2024 in Tabriz*
