Launch of summer Quranic courses project in 186 mosques and hussayniyat in Karbala (+Photos)

The scientific complex of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has started the summer Quranic courses project in the holy city of Karbala under the supervision of the Holy Quran Institute affiliated to the complex.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The scientific complex of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has started the summer Quranic courses project in the holy city of Karbala under the supervision of the Holy Quran Institute affiliated to the complex.

The director of the Institute, Sheikh Jawad al-Nasrawi, said:"the institute has started working today on the summer Quranic courses project and that the project's workshops have spread to (186) mosques and husseiniyat distributed over the center of the holy city of Karbala, its districts and its environs.

He added that "the ages of students range from (7-15) years, divided into three study categories, and they receive lessons in the Holy Quran, beliefs, jurisprudence, ethics, biography, in addition to cultural and entertainment programs and Quranic competitions".

Al-Nasrawi explained that"the students' work will be five days a week and an average of three hours per day, and that the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has provided specialized professors, curricula, meals, in addition to encouraging gifts, and that all this is provided free of charge".

He explained:"the main goal of the project is to instill the Quranic values and Islamic literature in the souls of students and provide them with an Islamic culture based on the thought of the two holy weights; the Holy Quran and the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)".
