Ahlulbayt News Agency: The Hamas Movement has conveyed its leadership’s “deepest condolences and solidarity” to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, the Iranian government, and the Iranian people over the death of President Ebrahim Raisi and senior officials in a helicopter crash on Sunday.
Hamas praised the deceased Iranian leaders for supporting the Palestinian people’s legitimate struggle and resistance against the Israeli occupation, and expressed its confidence that Iran’s “deep-rooted institutions” will be able to overcome “the repercussions of this immense loss.”
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, his foreign minister Hussein Amirabdollahian and other senior officials were found dead early Monday hours after their helicopter crashed in a foggy, mountainous region of the country’s northwest, state media reported.
