AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Deputy for International Affairs of Imam Reza shrine has received a group of cultural activists from Kenya.
Sheikh Ali Samoja, Deputy for Ahla al-Bait Institute in Nairobi, visited Imam Reza shrine in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad, along with six cultural activists from the East African country.
During their visit, the Kenyan convoy sat for talks with the Deputy Office for International Affairs and went on a tour of the shrine and library
The group is involved in cultural, promotional, scientific and educational activities regarding faiths in Kenya.
In the meeting, the two sides agreed to weigh up possibilities to hold joint online sessions on pilgrimage and run online events in Swahili, which is the second language spoken in the African country.
Potential areas for mutual cooperation in joint endowments for Imam Reza in Kenya have also been discussed.
