AhlulBayt News Agency: A Quranic programs will be organized on the eve of birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS) on Sunday.
It will be held at the holy shine of the 8th Shia Imam (AS) in Mashhad as well as other holy sites and mosques across Iran, according to the director of the Astan Quds Razavi’s Quranic Affairs Center.
It includes collective recitation of Surah Al-Insan, the 76th chapter of the Holy Quran, Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Masoud Mirian said.
He added that the Astan Quds Razavi is planning to hold various other programs on the auspicious occasion.
A huge number of pilgrims are expected to visit Imam Reza’s (AS) holy mausoleum in Mashhad in the coming days.
The 11th day of the lunar Hijri month of Dhu al-Qa’dah marks the birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS).
This year, Shia Muslims in Iran and elsewhere in the world will celebrate the auspicious occasion on Monday, May 20.
