Imam Reza (peace be upon him) says:
الإيمانُ أربَعةُ أركانٍ : التَّوكُّلُ علَى اللّهِ عَزَّ و جلَّ ، و الرِّضا بقَضائهِ ، و التَّسليمُ لِأمرِ اللّهِ ، و التَّفويضُ إلَى اللّهِ.
Faith has four pillars: reliance upon God, satisfaction with God's decree, submission to divine commandment, and entrusting the affairs to God.
