Senior official of Al-Abbas holy shrine opens exhibition of gifts and vows department (+Photos)

The Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, opened the exhibition of the Department of receiving gifts, vows and endowments after its rehabilitation.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, opened the exhibition of the Department of receiving gifts, vows and endowments after its rehabilitation.

Sayed al-Safi conducted a tour of the corridors of the department and viewed the exhibits, and listened to a detailed explanation about the work of the department and the services it provides to visitors.

The Department of receiving gifts and vows at the holy shrine provides various services for visitors to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)

The opening ceremony was attended by the secretary general of the holy shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia-Uddin, members of the board of Directors; Mr. Jawad al-Hasnawi, Dr. Abbas al-Deda al-Mousawi, Sayed Mohammed al-Ashigar, director of the Office of the Senior Official; Dr. Afdhal al-Shami, and a number of officials of the holy shrine and heads of its departments.

The head of the Department of receiving gifts and vows, Mr. Abbas Abdul Amir al-Hakeem, said that "the opening of the Department's new exhibition in its new form inside the Shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) came under the guidance of the Senior Official of the holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, who urged to pay attention to the departments and upgrade and develop them to provide the best services to visitors to the holy city of Karbala".

He added that " the work of developing and expanding the exhibition came within a work plan designed to suit the numbers of its visitors, as the rehabilitation was represented by the addition of modern electronic programs in receiving financial and in-kind payments, as well as increasing the area of the gift exhibition intended for visitors to bless the collections of the Shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)".

"The exhibition includes pieces of Alabaster replaced from the Holy Courtyard in various sizes and shapes after they were engraved with Quranic verses and the names of the imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), in addition to the rings containing the alabaster stone and other collectibles,"al-Hakeem continued.
