Ahlulbayt News Agency: The head of the syndicate of Iraqi doctors, Dr. Hassanein Shubbar, confirmed that the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has a great role in the health renaissance in Karbala governorate.
This came during his visit to the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, and met with its board member Mr. Jawad al-Hasnawi and the head of its public relations department, Mr. Mohammed Ali Azhar.
"The Iraqi Doctors Syndicate - The General Headquarters - decided to make its first visit outside Baghdad to the province of Karbala, because it represents the first national edifice and the Islamic cause that characterizes the province, as well as the role of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in the development of the health sector in the province,"said Shubbar.
He added, "Karbala governorate is witnessing a tangible renaissance in the health sector, and the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine has a big and clear role in the health renaissance in the province, and health institutions were complaining of a significant shortage in many health services, and this shortage was significantly compensated by the Holy Shrine.
"On behalf of the Iraqi doctors, the syndicate decided that this visit should be a kind of extending thanks and appreciation for the efforts of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, and we hope that this holy place will continue to provide more service to Iraq,"he added.
