AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi underlined his certainty of the victory of the Palestinian nation and an end to the criminal Zionist regime.

Addressing a group of cultural and literary figures of the Muslim world who have travelled to Iran to attend the 35th Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF), Raeisi said that despite the enemy’s attempts at undermining hope in the Muslim Ummah, the steadfastness and resistance of the vigilant nations against the injustice and oppression of the people of Gaza shows that the victory of the Palestinian nation is certain.

He added that the issue of Palestine has become the top issue for all Muslims and freedom-loving nations in the world today.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the president described the Tehran book fair as a proper opportunity for the exchange of ideas and thoughts among the Muslim world’s cultural elites.

He expressed hope that the presence of prominent authors and cultural figures at the prestigious event would contribute to the cultural elevation of the Islamic Ummah.

Some of the foreign guests attending the meeting also gave addresses, in which they appreciated the influential role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in safeguarding Islamic aspirations and promoting the culture of resistance in the Muslims world.

They also hailed the Iranian support for the people of Palestine and the crushing and historic response of the Islamic Republic’s armed forces to the Zionist regime, namely the True Promise Operation carried out against Israel on April 18.

Running under the slogan “Let’s Read and Create,” the 35th Tehran International Book Fair is underway at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Mosalla (prayer hall) and will be underway until May 18.

The TIBF, being Iran’s premier book trade fair, has evolved into a significant book fair in West Asia after successfully hosting 34 editions. Every year, the fair attracts millions of visitors, including a large number of university students, scholars, and families.

Currently, the fair stands as the most prominent cultural event in Iran. On average, it sees participation from 2,500 domestic and 600 foreign publishers. The foreign publishers predominantly offer their materials in English or Arabic, but titles in French, German, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese are also available.
