AhlulBayt News Agency: The Palestinian civil defense service has called on the Red Cross to pressure the Israeli occupation government to allow its rescue crews to carry out humanitarian interventions in areas of incursions to save wounded citizens buried under the rubble of bombed homes.
In a news conference held on Tuesday, the general directorate of the civil defense service appealed to the UN, the World Health Organization, the International Civil Defense Organization, and all concerned humanitarian institutions to urgently intervene to pressure the Israeli government to allow the entry of heavy equipment into Gaza in order to enable its crews to carry out rescue operations and recover the bodies of victims from the rubble of bombed homes.
The civil defense also denounced the UN and international organizations for their failure to pressure the Israeli government to allow fuel shipments into Gaza, warning that its relief, emergency and rescue efforts would stop if it was not provided with its fuel needs.
