AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Shia scholar Ayatollah Ramazani pointed to the activities of the World Assembly of AhlulBayt and stated,” We are looking for scientific authority in the assembly, which should be realized in the Islamic Republic of Iran. At the beginning of the Islamic revolution, Iran's scientific rank was 57, today we have reached the 15th rank and, in some fields, we are among the top ten countries in the world in terms of scientific growth. This authority must be realized in the field of science production and religious fields.”
The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt World Assembly Ayatollah Reza Ramazani delivered a speech at the unveiling ceremony of the new publications of the World Assembly in the field of European and African languages and two audiobooks in Spanish, which were released on Monday at the International Book Fair Held in Tehran. Hujjat al-Islam Ramazani said, "The progressive society is a conscious society, and the more awareness grows, the society will also grow and become more powerful."
Stating that science makes society gain authority and become the center of gravity in the world, he added,” Wherever science grows in various dimensions of basic sciences, physics, chemistry, theology, philosophy, and logic, society will advance accordingly. The growth of the society is the same as the growth of the members of the society in moral and practical terms, and the more this awareness and knowledge is, the society becomes rich and advanced.”
Secretary-General of the World Assembly of AhlulBayt (PBUT) further noted that Allameh Hassanzadeh Amoli used to say that Almighty God created man for two things: knowledge and wealth. All the means of acquiring this knowledge and wealth have been provided to man. If the human being is placed in the context of this knowledge and property, he will have a huge capacity. According to Amirul Momineen (PBUH), all containers can be filled except for the container of the human soul, the more it fills, the more its capacity increases.
Ayatollah Ramazani went on to say that thought and knowledge are the basis of all good, and ignorance is the basis of all evil for the individual and society, and added,” Science is the basis of good, and ignorance is the source of evil. The evil that you see in the world is either due to ignorance or it is due to arrogance that is attributable to the field of action. If there is ignorance in the society, there will be enmity, strife and conflict.
