AhlulBayt News Agency: Ismail Haneyya, the Political Bureau Chairman of the Hamas Movement, and a senior delegation from the Movement met with Turkish intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin in the Qatari capital.
Hamas said in a statement that the meeting centered on events unfolding in the past week, leading to the offensive on Rafah, after the Movement said it had agreed to a ceasefire proposal by mediators.
Haneyya praised Turkey’s moves against Israel, including joining the genocide case at the International Court of Justice and halting trade with Israel.
He also reportedly handed over case files, including evidence of the torture of Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails, some of whom were killed.
Hamas said Kalin emphasized Turkey’s “firm positions” on the Palestinian issue.
