Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi: President hard work, extensive communication with people a source of hope

In his meeting with Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi, the President stated that the government is sensitive to the welfare and livelihood of the people and stated, “Our main goal is to observe the issues in the field and closely. The method of this government is not to pass by problems, but to solve problems with the view of solving problems, regardless of which government and which period these problems are related to”.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): In his meeting with Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi, the President stated that the government is sensitive to the welfare and livelihood of the people and stated, “Our main goal is to observe the issues in the field and closely. The method of this government is not to pass by problems, but to solve problems with the view of solving problems, regardless of which government and which period these problems are related to”.

Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi met and talked with Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi before noon on Friday, in continuation of the plans of the second visit of the Popular Administration to Qom province.

In this meeting, Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi congratulated the President on the birthday of H.H. Masoumeh (PBUH) and the birthday of Imam Reza (PBUH), and said, “The government has made valuable achievements in the field of action and practice, but the announcement of these services and achievements should be strengthened”.

Referring to the global and important position of Qom city, he called for more attention to improve the urban development indicators and solve the problems of this city and added, “The government's actions in housing in Qom are commendable and although your government is not responsible for the unfinished monorail and airport projects in Qom, considering the importance of these plans for Qom and also the approach of the Popular Administration in completing the half-finished plans, it is expected that an effective action will be taken to complete these projects”.

Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi stated that there is a lot of work to be done, but the Popular Administration’s hard work, seriousness and round-the-clock efforts have created a lot of hope for doing these things, and said, “I always pray for the success of your Excellency and the Popular Administration. Your excellency's abundant work and your extensive communication with the people are the source of hope for the supporters of the Revolution and the despair of the enemies”.

In this meeting, the President also congratulated Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi for the current and upcoming events, and described his presence in Qom on the birthday of H.H. Fatima Masoumeh (PBUH) and the meeting with the grand maraji as a great opportunity for him and said, “Continuous communication between the governor general of Qom and government officials with grand maraji have always been emphasised by me”.

Dr Raisi stated that despite all the efforts and conspiracies of the enemies, the country is progressing and there is no problem in the government's determination to accelerate and continue the path of solving the problems and development of the country, adding, “We consider the growth of production as the key to solving the problems and economic progress. Therefore, with round-the-clock efforts, we have revived about 9 thousand stagnant production units. Also, the process of building housing in the country has flourished, which itself, as one of the drivers of the economy, has led to the prosperity of many industrial and service units”.
