Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani (1957- 2020) known as “Hajj Qassem” was the former commander of IRGC Quds Force and the axis of resistance against the Zionist regime and the US.
After the emergence of Daesh in Iraq and Syria, Hajj Qassem fought against the terrorist group (Daesh) by being present in these areas and organizing popular forces in cooperation with the governments of these two countries, and played a special role in annihilating the Daesh ruling in the occupied regions.
His proficiency and cleverness in implementing military tactics and thwarting colonial plans were such that he was given the nickname " The Commander with No Shadow”.
Finally, at the age of 63, Lt. General Soleimani was martyred on Friday morning of January 3, 2020 in Iraq in a terrorist operation launched by the US.
This incident made Iran to fire missiles at the Ain al-Assad airbase, the main US base in Iraq, and then start an unofficial battle against the American military forces in West Asia.
