AhlulBayt News Agency: The Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine organized its annual central celebration, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima al-Ma'soomah (peace be upon her).
The ceremony, which was held at the Qibla gate of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon him), was attended by the secretary-general of the holy shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia-Uddin, the director of the Office of its Senior Official, Dr. Afdhal al-Shami, a number of heads of its departments and officials, in addition to a large number of visitors.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the reader of the holy shrine; Sayed Ali al-Saadi, followed by the speech of the general secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine, delivered by Sheikh Ali Mohan, in which he touched upon the virtues of Lady Fatima al-Ma'soomah(peace be upon her), and her status with the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
After that, the audience listened to a selection of poems on this occasion, delivered by the poet Redha al-Khafaji and the poet Abu Mohammed al-Mayahi, in addition to the poet Ghassan al-Quraishi, and chanting by the Radood Mr. Ibrahim al-Sharifi and the Radood Ali al-Ambar.
The ceremony concluded with the announcement of the names of the ten winners in the contest of the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima al-Masoomah (peace be upon Her), launched by the general secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine.
