Iranian philosopher Morteza Motahari wrote pieces about intellectuality, and scientific elevation of the Islamic society for half a century, Tehran's interim Friday prayers leader said.
Speaking at the sermons of Friday prayers in the Iranian capital, Tehran's interim Friday prayers leader Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Hassan Abu Torabi Fard spoke about the features of Iranian philosopher Morteza Motahari, whose martyrdom anniversary is regarded as National Teachers Day in Iran.
Martyr Motahari was a school and university teacher, and Motahari's martyrdom anniversary was named Teacher's Day, Abu Torabi Fard said.
Enjoying knowledge, piety, deep social and political insight and a correct understanding of the intellectual realities in the society, Motahari wrote pieces about intellectuality, and scientific elevation of the Islamic society for half a century.
