AhlulBayt News Agency: Officials and maritime experts warned of Yemenis’ capability to target ships hundreds of miles away in the Indian Ocean, Financial Times reported.
They revealed Yemen’s success in striking a container ship last week.
Jacob Larsen, head of maritime security at “BIMCO,” told the Financial Times: “It is likely that some ships, especially those linked to “Israel”, US or Britain, will be directed away from the increasing threat from Yemen.”
The paper confirmed that the British maritime security group “EOS Risk” issued a warning after a ship in the Indian Ocean was targeted, warning clients that Yemeni drones can reach up to 2000 kilometers.
