AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iranian students in Tehran, held a gathering on Sunday evening before Tehran University to support the pro-Palestinian Student Movement in the US.
The American student protest movement began 9 days ago on April 17 at Columbia University in New York; the protesting students called on the university to cut off its relations with the Israeli institutions involved in the war on Gaza.
The Iranian students held the gathering after performing the evening prayer, as they hoisted Palestine's flags and cried slogans against the Israeli regime and its Western supporters: Down with Israel, Down with USA, Down with England.
"Neither compromise nor submission, just campaign against Israel" and "Palestine overcomes, Israel is annihilated" also were other slogans they chanted to show their hatred toward the US Police's brutal crackdown on the American university students.
Live communication with the University of Virginia and a conversation with Azizi, one of the Iranian students of that university, about the latest developments in the US Student movement to support the oppressed Palestinian nation were among the other programs of the event.
Azizi said, through Skype, that the pro-Palestinian student movement in the United States is spreading out as the US government structure is against any student support for Palestine.
The US media reported that more than 600 people were arrested during pro-Palestinian protests in at least 15 universities across the United States.
The protests came as the Israeli regime culminated its criminal actions in the Gaza Strip of occupied Palestine and officially ran a genocide against the Palestinian people.
Since October 7 and the beginning of the all-out Israeli war on Gaza, over 34,380 people have been martyred and over 77,430 others have been wounded, besides dealing with famine and starvation.
