AhlulBayt News Agency: The United States has been one of the greatest architects of expansion of Israel, as a fake regime in the world after1970s.
Billions of dollars of the US budget have been appropriated for creation and bolstering of the Israeli regime's capabilities. The unconditioned US support for the occupying regime, at any cost, is not a strange event. But, on the verge of a regional war with governmental players and resistance groups in West Asia, the United States should ask what must be done to an armed regime that it has created itself, a regime that invades the world; a regime which will eventually imperil the US interests? What is ridiculous on the humanitarian claims of the US is that, on the one hand, it is complicit in causing harm to the Palestinians and, on the other hand, puts a bandage on their wound with sending of aerial humanitarian aids to Gaza.
The United States, in its diplomatic past, has supported colonialist and dictatorial players, but what is weird on this country's situation in this conflict is its unique relation with Israel. As Noam Chomsky has pointed, Israel destroyed the perspective of Arab nationalism in West Asia and turned into the channel of plundering the existing resources in the region for the US. The unity between the US and Israel has remained intact ever since.
Israel recognizes no humane boundary for its assaults and the US, too, lacks ethical courage to say "No" openly to Israel which commits war crimes.
The current exchange between the United States and Israel is a convincing case on how the US has turned into a corrupt evil-causing regime, and fails to control this evil even if it intends to.
Selling Israel as the only "democracy" in West Asia is a bitter joke; while it is the most brazen and ruthless occupying force in the world and it has its roots in expulsion and annihilation of the Palestinian people from their lands.
The international rights standards are the only ideals which help the world community to utter the truth or falsehood. But, as for Israel, its leaders have violated the rules without compunction and [fearing of] consequences. This time, after the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, expressed his view on breaching of human rights by Israel, tension between Israel and the UN increased.
This shows that the UN has little influence on the regimes like Israel which have not been committed to the requests for peace throughout history. The failure of the international communities has led to continuation of the Zionist regime's crimes so that during the recent months the attacks of the regime have caused martyrdom of over 34 thousand Palestinians most of whom were women and children.
