AhlulBayt News Agency: A Palestinian paramedic was killed by Israeli settlers’ gunfire in Sawiya town in southern Nablus on Saturday evening.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced that its crews carried a 48-year-old ambulance driver to hospital where he was soon afterwards proclaimed dead.
Activist Bashara Qaryuti said that ambulances headed to the village of Sawiya to transfer casualties and after carrying a number of them the vehicles came under heavy gunfire from settlers and army soldiers killing the ambulance driver.
Two citizens in Sawiya suffered bullet injuries as a result of the settlers’ attacks on the village, one was hit in his face and the other in his chest, according to the Society.
