AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Pro-Palestine supporters thronged the streets of Pakistan’s historic city of Lahore on Saturday night to express their solidarity with the people in the Gaza Strip and denounce the ongoing Israeli genocide of Palestinians.
According to IRNA correspondent, supporters of the Palestinian resistance held a massive rally under the title "Labbaik al-Aqsa" and marched to the American Consulate General in Lahore.
The protesters shouted slogans against the Zionist regime while afforming their readiness to protect Al-Aqsa Mosque, the third holiest Islamic site in the occupied al-Quds.
The participants in this demonstration emphasized their support for the freedom of Palestine, renewed their bond with the martyrs in Gaza, condemned the crimes of the Zionists, and supported the fight of the resistance groups against the occupation of the illegal Israeli regime.
Several people addressed the crowd and demanded a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, the end of the siege and the opening of humanitarian corridors to save civilians.
Hafiz Naeem ur-Rehman, the new leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, paid tribute to the martyrs of Gaza and praised the sacrifice and perseverance of the leaders of the resistance front against the Zionist crimes.
The people of Pakistan will never compromise with Israel and we will never recognize the illegitimate Zionist regime, he said.
He also called on the government of Pakistan and other Islamic nations to defend the people of Gaza fiercely and that, like South Africa, they should file complaint with the International Court of Justice against the crimes of Israel and the genocide of Palestinians.
Naeem ur-Rehman added that all the people of Pakistan support Palestine and the Al-Aqsa Storm operation against Israeli crimes.
We will defend the aspirations of the Palestinian nation until our last breath, he added.
