Ayatollah Hafiz Syed Riaz Hussain Najafi, the head of Federation of Shia Schools of Pakistan and the director of Jamiat al-Montazar seminary in Lahore, supported Iran's crushing attack on Israel and pointed out that Iran is the hope of the Islamic Ummah and the defender of Holy Quds. He stated,” The oppressed Palestinians are now jubilant since a Muslim country took action against the occupying aggressors.”
He described the silence of Muslim countries regarding the crimes of the Zionist regime against the Palestinian people as a cowardly act and noted that Iran has started defending Muslim rights by attacking Israel, and now it is necessary for Islamic countries to publicly stand by Iran.
