AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Dr Raisi described the attack of the Zionist regime on the consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran as proof of the defeat and desperation of this regime, and stating that Iran's response to this attack was merely a punitive measure against the evils of the Zionist regime, and emphasised, "If any mistake is made, the Zionists and their supporters will find out the real meaning and broad response of Iran".
In a meeting with Sheikh Ali al-Khatib, Vice President of the Islamic Supreme Council of Shiites of Lebanon, Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi appreciated his and this political organisation's positions in supporting the resistance and efforts to maintain and strengthen cohesion and unity in the country, calling Lebanon an important pillar for the resistance movement".
The President stated that today the correctness of the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the inefficiency of the approach of compromise and submission regarding the Palestinian issue and the effectiveness of resistance in confronting the domination and oppression has been proven to everyone, and said, "Today's bloody picture of Gaza is a picture without a mask and the manifestation of the truth of Western civilisation and American culture".
Dr Raisi described and clarified that the different holding of Quds Day this year in different parts of the world is proof of the global acceptance of the strategy of resistance and a great success for this strategy, adding, "Operation Al-Aqsa Flood is a strategic failure for the Zionist regime and beyond the military failure, it is also a security failure of the regime which has resulted in the change of the equations of the region in favour of the cause of Palestine".
The President considered the failure of the political deception of the Zionists in the region as another result of the recent developments and added, "The unity that has been formed today among the Islamic Ummah and beyond in the public opinion of the world, as well as the hatred that has spread to the world towards America, the West and the Zionist regime has no precedent in any period and time".

In this meeting, Sheikh Ali al-Khatib also stated that despite the efforts of the enemies, the people of Lebanon are friendly and supportive of the resistance, and added, "I am delivering the warm greetings of the people of Lebanon to the nation of Iran and the greetings and gratitude of the Lebanese to the Islamic Republic of Iran for its powerful action against the Zionist regime".
The Vice President of the Islamic Supreme Council of Shiites of Lebanon described the resistance as Lebanon's red line and by emphasising the full support of the resistance despite all the pressures and adversities, and described the standing and authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran despite all the pressures, sanctions and hostilities as a source of pride for the Islamic Ummah and stated, "No other country has been able to stand so powerfully against a regime that has the support of all world powers".
