The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organized religious activities in five African countries during the days of Eid al-Fitr.

Ahlulbayt News Agency: The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organized religious activities in five African countries during the days of Eid al-Fitr.

The activities were organized by the Department's African Studies Center.

The activities were held in the countries of Ghana (Accra City), Madagascar, Mauritania (Nouakchott), Tanzania (Kigoma), Kenya (Bahakanda, Kwale state)".

The activities of the first day of the Blessed Eid included the establishment of Eid prayer, which was attended by a gathering of followers and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them); because of its importance in spreading manifestations of pleasure in society, the convergence of all segments of society on one word and the rejection of differences, as well as holding councils for preaching and guidance.

During the activities, the prayer of the general secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and greetings for Eid al-Fitr were conveyed, stressing at the same time that the holy month of Ramadhan should be a start for doing good and goodness in the rest of the months of the year.

During the holy month of Ramadhan, the Center for African Studies organized a number of religious and cultural events in various African countries throughout the holy month to spread the thought of the authentic Mohammadian religion and its teachings among the segments of African society.
