AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Cultural and religious activists and scouts of Imam Mahdi (PBUH), in the cities of Nubl and al-Zahraa in the northern suburbs of Aleppo, held a big ceremony on the occasion of the World Quds Day in Imam al-Mortaza (PBUH) mosque.

In order to implement the will of Late Imam Khomeini (RA) and to fulfill his call to declare the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as the International Quds Day in following the path of resistance and struggle for the liberation of Quds, cultural and religious activists and Scouts of Hazrat Mahdi (peace be upon him), in the Syrian cities of Nubl and al-Zahraa in the northern suburbs of Aleppo, held a big ceremony on the occasion of World Quds Day in the mosque of Imam al-Mortaza (peace be upon him).

The crowd participating in Quds Day emphasized their absolute support for the Palestinian issue by raising Palestinian flags and banners.

Those present at this ceremony emphasized,” the rallies of the World Quds Day provide great opportunity for the awakening of the Arab and Islamic Ummah and to raise the level of awareness and interaction with the Palestinian issue against the Global arrogance, which is headed by the United States and the Zionist regime, so that the Holy Quds will be liberated.”

The participants in the World Quds Day further emphasized,” The sacrifices and steadfastness of the Palestinian people, men, women, children and resistance fighters against the Israeli occupation, is not only limited to defending Palestine, but also defending the Islamic holy places and all the oppressed of the world.”

Al-Quds Day (or, simply, “Quds Day”) is an annual, international day to express support for Palestine and oppose the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories. Large rallies are held, usually beginning after the communal Friday prayers.
