Ahlulbayt News Agency: Iran’s Cultural Center in Thailand has organized a Quranic exhibition concurrent with the blessed month of Ramadan.
The event is being held at Bangkok Islamic Center in the Thai capital.
It opened on March 27 and will wrap up on April 7.
The event features artworks related to the Holy Quran.
Additionally, an Iranian artist holds calligraphy workshops in the exhibition.
Ramadan, which began on March 12, this year, is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.
It is a period of prayer, fasting, charity giving and self–accountability for Muslims around the world.
The Quran was revealed to the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) heart in this month.
During Ramadan, Muslims fast (abstain from foods and drinks) from sunrise to sunset.
They also devote a considerable amount of time during this month to reading and contemplating the Quran.
