Ahlulbayt News Agency: More than 2,000 psychologists from around the world, in a letter to the secretary-general of the United Nations and the secretary of the UN Women's Rights Commission, have demanded the expulsion of Zionist regime from the UN Women's Commission.
In this letter, the psychologists have condemned the brutal crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza, expressing grave concern over the world organizations' neglect of the mental health of women and children in the besieged enclave.
The letter includes several questions posed by the psychologists: How the Zionist regime is still a member of this Commission after perpetrating those horrible violations and speaks about the rights of women and children with hands soaked in the blood of over 25,000 innocent women and children? How does this regime claim women's rights, while about 70% of those massacred in the war in Gaza are innocent women and children! They questioned whether the eyes and ears of the United Nations, an international organization, are closed to this heinous crime.
At the end of the letter, psychologists warned of the consequences of ignoring Israel's atrocities, including tarnishing the credibility of the United Nations, and called for the swift expulsion of this illegal regime from all affiliated bodies of this organization, including UN Women's Rights Commission and Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli regime with full support from Western countries, has launched a new widespread massacre against defenseless and oppressed Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
According to the latest reports, during these attacks, more than 32,000 Palestinians have been martyred and over 74,000 others have been injured.
The Israeli regime was established in 1917 as part of Britain's colonial scheme, with the migration of Jews from different countries to the land of the Palestine. Since then, the Zionist movement has implemented plans for the genocide and mass displacement of Palestinians and the confiscation of their lands.
