AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Hujjat al-Islam Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari was elected as a senator without opposition.
7 senators of Punjab state, including Hujjat al-Islam Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, were elected as the chairman of Pakistan Muslim Unity Council without opposition.
Zolfi Bukhari, Mohsen Naqvi, Parviz Rashid, Talal Chaudhry, Ahad Cheema and Nasser Mahmoud are among the other elected senators.
Previously, 5 candidates withdrew from the senatorial race, after which only 7 candidates remained in the race to win 7 public seats.
It should be noted that Waleed Iqbal, Shahzad Wasim, Ejaz Minhas, Mossadegh Malik and Omar Cheema were among those who withdrew.
