AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Emphasising the strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting the resistance movement and the oppressed and powerful people of Gaza, the President complained about the inaction of the leaders of some Islamic countries in fulfilling their duty towards the Palestinian nation and referring to the wide dimensions of the oppressed people of Gaza's resistance against the criminal Zionist regime, adding, “The people of Gaza not only did not wait for the support of some countries and Islamic governments, but with their unique resistance, they proved the insignificance of international institutions, organisations and unions claiming human rights and challenged the unjust world order”.
Speaking in a meeting with Mr Ziyad al-Nakhalah, Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi praised the bravery of the resistance groups in Gaza against the crimes of the Zionist enemy, as well as commending and emphasising the unity of the Palestinian groups, and stated, “Today, Gaza is the scene of victory and standing, resistance and faith of the Palestinian people against the dark, unprecedented crimes of the Zionist regime and America”.
Referring to the discursive superiority of the resistance groups and the people of Gaza in proving the option of standing and resisting as the only option to confront the brutality and criminality of the usurping Zionist regime, especially for the world's political elites, the President clarified that the invincibility of this regime is a lie, adding, “The people of Gaza proved that this regime does not adhere to any law, international treaty and human principles at any level”.
Dr Raisi stated that Palestine has the right to resistance for the same reason that it has the right to life, adding, “Anyone who rejects Palestinian resistance has actually rejected Palestine's right to life”.

In this meeting, Ziyad al-Nakhalah, Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, while congratulating the Iranian government and nation on the holy month of Ramadan and the new year, and appreciating the unwavering support of the Iranian people for the ideals of the resistance and stability of the people of Gaza, commemorating the martyred Lt. Gen. Haj Qasem Soleimani, and said “Today, the Palestinian nation has surprised the Zionist enemy and its allies, especially the United States, with its steadfastness”.
The Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement also appreciated the support of the resistance axis to the Palestinian nation and added, “This support, in addition to raising the spirit and motivation in the hearts of the people of Gaza and the Palestinian warriors, contained the important message that the Palestinian nation is not alone in fighting against the Zionist enemy”.
