Ahlulbayt News Agency: The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine organized the ceremony of raising the banner of Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him) on his birth auspicious anniversary, in the courtyard of the Qibla of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon him), coinciding with raising it at all the Holy Shrines in Iraq.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of a number of officials of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and a gathering of visitors.
"On the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba(peace be upon him), major events are being held to commemorate the occasion, where all the Holy Shrines in Iraq simultaneously raise the banner of Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba(peace be upon him) on his birth anniversary,"said Jawad al-Hasnawi, a member of the board of Directors of the holy shrine.
For his part, a member of the board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's(P) shrine, Mr. Kadhem Obada, said that "the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine spread manifestations of joy and adornment throughout the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (Peace be upon him), "pointing out that "the ceremony of raising the banner of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) is a ceremonial custom that the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine used to hold every year, by preparing a special platform to celebrate his birth auspicious anniversary.
