AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Former US President Donald Trump, who is one of the staunchest allies of Israel, has acknowledged that the Zionist regime is losing international support over its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
IRNA has cited reports, according which, Trump while supporting the Israeli crimes against Palestinians, advised the regime on Monday that it must end the war.
Trump, who is the Republican presidential candidate, also announced that he would have reacted the same way as Israel did after the October 7 al-Aqsa Storm operation but told the regime that it has to “finish the war”.
The former president made the statements in an interview with the Zionist newspaper.
Previously, Trump during an interview with Fox News had issued similar call to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and asked him to end the Gaza war as soon as possible. He then claimed that if he was in the White House, the Gaza war would not have happened.
Trump and Netanyahu have backed each other while in power, with the Israeli premier once calling him a champion of the Israeli cause, with reference to normalization deals Trump brokered between several Arab states and the Israeli regime.
