World understands Netanyahu has reached end of line: Iran FM

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian says the world has realized that the Israeli regime’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reached the end of the line and he is desperately trying to survive.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian says the world has realized that the Israeli regime’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reached the end of the line and he is desperately trying to survive.

The Iranian FM made the remarks in a phone conversation with Head of the Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh on Thursday night when they discussed the latest developments in Palestine, particularly in the war-hit Gaza Strip.

“As Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has said the Israeli regime has been trapped in the quagmire of the Gaza war as a result of the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and resistance groups”, Amirabdollahian noted.

He briefed the Hamas political leader on Iran’s diplomatic measures and consultations at the international level over the Palestinian issue.

The foreign minister also criticized the UN Security Council, and called for immediate action to stop the massacre of the Palestinian people, especially women and children in Gaza, and sending humanitarian aid to the besieged strip.

Haniyeh, for his part, appreciated the Iranian government and people for their support of the Palestinians and elaborated on the latest political and military developments on the ground in Gaza.

The Hamas official also pointed to the high morale of the resistance fighters in the face of the Israeli war machine.

He described the humanitarian situation in northern Gaza as critical, and called on the international community to stand against the Israeli policy of imposing famine and hunger against Gaza residents, especially children.

As to the regional attempts to stop the genocide in Gaza and exchange Palestinian prisoners with hostages held in the besieged territory, Haniyeh said that the Israeli regime refuses to accept Hamas’ conditions which he said are legitimate demands of the Palestinian people. Therefore, he added, the regime is responsible for a possible failure of the negotiations aimed at establishing a ceasefire in Gaza.
