AhlulBayt News Agency: The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has launched its first humanitarian initiatives for African communities in Iraq during the month of Ramadhan.
This initiative, launched by the African Studies Center of the department, came in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan, and within the Al-Kafeel food basket project to provide humanitarian, intellectual and social care to African residents in Iraq.
It includes the distribution of food baskets to the families of the African communities in Najaf and the holy city of Karbala.
For their part, the African families residing in Iraq appreciated the center's Humanitarian Initiative, and the efforts exerted by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in caring for them and caring for communities in various African countries.
