AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The celebration of girls' Taklif Ceremony was held in Sydney, Australia.
With the efforts of the International Center for Quranic Propagation of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hossein (PBUH), the ceremony of celebrating the duty of girls with the participation of dozens of them was held in Imam Sajjad's (PBUH) Hussainiya in Sydney, the capital of Australia.
Ali Al-Taee, the deputy director of the center, said,” As part of various international activities to deal with Arab Muslim immigrant communities and at the same time as the auspicious birthdays in the month of Shaban, for the first time the celebration of girls' Taklif Ceremony [ceremony in which youth officially reach the age when they observe religious obligations] was held in Imam Sajjad's Hussainiya (PBUH) located in Sydney, Australia. It was held by the International Center for Quranic Propagation of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (PBUH) and with the cooperation of the "Descendants of Imam Montazar (PBUH)" delegation with the presence of dozens of participants.
Alaa Mansouri, a member of the organizing committee of this event, said,” This event was held after the registration of a large number of girls, and during it, guidance was provided on Sharia issues and what a Muslim girl needs, and about the life of Hazrat Zahra (Peace be upon her) some information was provided.”
Hojjat al-Islam Sheikh Ali Al-Zahidi, the director of Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) Hussainiya, also appreciated the initiative of Imam Hussein (PBUH) holy shrine in carrying out such activities to strengthen the Islamic culture of the immigrant group and to embrace their families.
