AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Sajid Ali Naqvi said,” This mujahid scholar supported the Late Imam Khomeini during the Islamic Revolution and following the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, he played valuable roles in key positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Seyyed Sajid Ali Naqvi, head of the Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan, expressed his condolences on demise of Ayatollah Kashani in a message.

The text of the message is as follows:

In the name of God

The passing away of that Mujahid scholar, the Late Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani caused a great impact and grief.

This mujahid scholar was with Imam Khomeini during the Islamic Revolution Movement and after the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, he played valuable roles in the important responsibilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During his noble life, this revolutionary personality, relying on the enlightened life of Ahl al-Bayt, had a unique interest in explaining Islamic teachings and Islamic behavior.

He was the provisional Friday imam of Tehran for many years, and his heart-warming sermons in Friday prayers in Tehran will remain in the memory of the believers.

I would like to express my condolences for this loss in the presence of the Supreme Leader, the dignitaries, the scholars, especially the God Almighty, and in this month of Sha'ban, may the deceased have God's grace, and greatness, and I ask for patience and reward for the respected family and those who are interested.

Seyyed Sajid Ali Naqvi

Chairman of Pakistan's Shia Ulema Council
