AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani says that the expulsion of the Zionist regime from the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW) due to killing thousands of women and causing severe psychological distress in mothers is a global demand.
International Women's Day (March 8) should not be an opportunity to make silly and despicable statements by some self-styled advocates of women’s rights, who have left a dark record in violation of women's humane, cultural, and social rights, Kanaani wrote in Farsi on social media platform X on Friday on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
He added that the hypocritical approach of such self-styled advocates of women’s rights, who have closed their eyes on the brutal slaughter of thousands of innocent women and children in Palestine and continue to support a terrorist regime and the brutal killer of women and children, has been revealed to all the world.
This year's International Women's Day belongs to the heroines and mothers of innocent Palestinian girls and should be an opportunity for global condemnation of the oppressive Israeli regime, he further noted.
Kanaani underlined that the expulsion of the Zionist regime from the UNCSW due to the killing of thousands of women and committing crimes against humanity as a result of systematic starvation of the civilian population, especially women and children, and causing severe psychological distress in mothers due to the gradual death of their children is a global demand.
