AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Grand Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani, in his meeting with Iran’s Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, emphasized on following up the problems of the people, especially the needy and eliminating unemployment issue.
Senior Shia scholar Grand Ayatollah Hossein Nouri Hamedani had a meeting with Seyyed Sowlat Mortazavi, Iran’s Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, while congratulating on the Shabaniyah holidays, he emphasized on following up the problems of the people, especially the needy and eliminating unemployment issue.
Referring to Imam Khomeini’s sayings in Sahifa Noor, this Shia source of emulation pointed out,” poverty, oppression and illiteracy must be removed, which in itself requires jihad and scientific effort. As the Imam Khomeini overthrew the system of lords and serfs against the corrupt system of the kingdom. We should not weaken Islam and the Islamic system with our actions and words. Your work is a kind of jihad.”
Grand Ayatollah Nouri Hamadani added,” In Islam, three types of duties and responsibilities have been defined; The first is self-improvement, that every human being has the duty to know himself as he deserves based on Islamic and divine standards. The second task is social. Man is a social being by nature and one person alone is not able to meet all his needs, but it should be noted that as we enjoy the benefits of society, we also have duties towards it.”
Referring to the percentage of youth unemployment, especially the educated class, the Grand Ayatollah emphasized the need for more connections between universities with industries and the production sector, training students in accordance with the job opportunities available in that field of study, and creating a field for the activity and development of knowledge-based companies and businesses.
Referring to the tragedies in Gaza in the shadow of the silence of international institutions and Western countries, this Shia scholar added,” Today, more than ever, it is necessary to maintain the unity and cohesion of the Islamic countries, especially the front of resistance against the criminal and child-killing Zionist regime and its supporters, including The Us and England.”
At the beginning of this meeting, Iran’s Minister of Labor and Social Welfare gave a report on the activities and measures taken in this ministry and also explained the upcoming plans.
