AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A commemoration ceremony was held in the holy Shrine of Hazrat Masouma in Qom, south of Tehran, on Thursday to honor Martyr Abu Taqwa al-Saeedi, the senior commander of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Unit (PMU).
The ceremony commemorated Quds martyrs of the Iraqi Islamic Resistance Front, the family of Martyr Abu Taqwa Al-Saeedi from Iraq, representatives of resistance groups, and many other guests from different countries were present.
Delivering a speech, one of the PMU senior commanders Nasr al-Shammari stressed that the PMU fighter's resistance will continue until the victory of the people of Gaza and the expulsion of the US from the region.
He emphasized that the Iraqi resistance front and the PMU are not afraid of the enemy and will not retreat from expelling the enemy.
Also, presenting a speech, a member of the Iranian Assembly of Experts Ayatollah Mohsen Araki said that Iran and other members of the Resistance Axis support Gaza and the Islamic resistance in the region and will destroy the US domination, expelling it from the region.
Assassinated by the US drone attack in his 43, Taqwa al-Saeedi, was one of the close friends of the later PMU Second-in-Command Marty Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.
Abu Taqwa, a member of the Al-Nujaba resistance movement, is considered to be responsible for the recent operations against the US bases in Iraq and Syria, therefore, he is considered the most prominent figure who was martyred after Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.
