AhlulBayt News Agency: An activist from Zambia said Israeli forces have banned the Palestinian flag to be flown in their own ancestral land but now it is hoisted across the world.
Aminata Embula Lisika, activist from Zambia said the Israeli regime intended to shut Palestine now the entire world has turned into Palestine as the people in all countries are flying Palestinian flag and support the Gazans.
She rejected Israeli claims calling its war on the Palestinians in the Gaza as self defense arguing that a so-called self-defense would not include killing defenseless women and children.
She said,” To pray for Palestine needs one only to be a human being and not an Arab or a Muslim.”
The Zambian activist explained the devastating situation of the people in the besieged Gaza struggling without hospitals and medical necessities, electricity, internet.
Aminata Embula Lisika called on the world people to talk about the Palestinians and be the voice of those in the blockaded territories saying,” Gaza showed us the importance of media sending the voice of the Gazans across the globe as the internet is blocked in the besieged lands.”
She said,” Gaza has taught us the true meaning of victory” and added,” Gaza has taught us that there is no victory without sacrifice.”
“Only countries that are brave and are not puppets of the US stood up for Gaza”, she said and added,” The issue in Gaza has revealed the hypocrisy of some countries in the Islamic nation.”
According to Aminata Embula Lisika, the issue of Gaza also showed the importance of unity and said the entire Palestinian nation are standing together for one aim which is their ancestral land and that is the reason they are still resisting no matter how hard the Israeli regime pounds them.”
She condemned the western media for not covering the true scale of death and destruction in Gaza stressing that to cover the truth will not help anybody.
She vowed that the Palestinian land will be free and the flag of Palestine will fly in the Palestinian land once again.
The 16th edition of the al-Aqsa Storm webinars as held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought was held on Wednesday as a number of female activists and thinkers expressed their views on the role of Palestinian women in more than seven decades of fight against occupation in the Palestinian lands.
