Ahlulbayt News Agency: The holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them) witnessed the influx of Karbala condolence processions to extend condolences to Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), on the death anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon them).
The processions of the people of Karbala took the roads leading to the two holy shrines as their starting point, and the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has developed an organizational plan to facilitate their movement, and harnessed all means to facilitate the performance of condolence rituals.
"The people of Karbala were keen to commemorate this sad anniversary at the two holy shrines to extend condolences to Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) on the birth anniversary of the great lady Zaynab (peace be upon them), and the condolence procession included carrying the symbolic coffin to embody this occasion,"said Nizar Hussein Abdel Aoun, one of the processions' servants.
For his part, one of the owners of the processions; sayed Ali Mohammed al-Karbalai, stressed that "on such days every year, condolence processions come out from inside and outside Karbala, to commemorate the death anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), and recite poems that show her greatness, sacrifice, positions, and oppression."
