AhlulBayt News Agency: Large numbers of Shia Husseiniyas in Germany have hosted special programs and events to commemorate the days and occasions of the blessed month of Rajab, which they see as an opportunity to seek closeness to Allah Almighty, Holy Prophet and Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.
The Month Rajab is one of the best months in the sight of God Almighty, and many noble prophetic narrations have been reported about it, emphasizing the importance of honoring its days and holding ritualistic ceremonies.
A number of Husseiniyas and Shia centers officials said that “this blessed month, in which blessings and goodness are poured down on believers as mentioned in the noble narrations, it is very important for believers to turn to worship and draw closer to God Almighty by fasting, praying, and performing spiritual and ritualistic ceremonies.”
They pointed out that they “opened the doors of Husseiniyas and centers since the first day of the blessed month, in light of the massive turnout of believers from the Shia community residing in Germany, in order to commemorate special occasions and events of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.”
The officials also mentioned that “Shia loyalists are keen to commemorate the occasions of their Infallible Imams; as they are preparing to celebrate the blessed birth of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib, peace be upon him. They already had commemorated the tragic martyrdom of Imam Ali al-Hadi, peace be upon him.”
