AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi has said that the cooperation and unity of Islamic countries can stop the Israeli machine of crime and genocide in the Gaza Strip.
Raisi made the remark on Sunday in a meeting with new ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Tehran Nijaz Cardaklija who submitted his credentials to the Iranian president.
Describing Iran-Bosnia ties as close and brotherly, President Raisi underlined that bolstering those relations benefits both countries.
He referred to the hostility of arrogant powers towards the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past years, saying that "if there is no interference against Muslims, like what we are witnessing today in Palestine, Muslims can live together peacefully. Therefore, it is needed to stand up against these enmities, crimes, and atrocities.”
Raisi also referred to more than 100 days of the Israeli war in Gaza, which has left over 25,000 people dead, mostly women and children, and said that “cooperation and unity among Islamic countries can stop Israel’s and its supporters’ machine of crimes, killings, and genocide.”
The ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for his part, said that the people of his country would never forget the help and support of the Islamic Republic of Iran in their difficult times, and noted that his country is calling for boosting mutual ties and constructive cooperation with Iran.
