AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has offered his condolences on the death of prominent Iranian philosopher Karim Mojtahedi.
In a message issued on Tuesday, Ayatollah Khamenei described Mojtahedi as a major occidentalist philosopher who had a critical view of the Western culture.
The Supreme Leader also hailed Mojtahedi’s work as a professor and lecturer of philosophy which enabled him to train numerous students.
Mojtahedi died on Monday at the age of 93 after suffering from a long period of illness.
He was a philosophy graduate from France’s Sorbonne University and taught logic courses for many years in the University of Tehran.
