AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Referring to the meeting of the International Criminal Court to try the usurper Zionist regime and the attempt of this regime to divert the course of its trial, the President said to the lawyers of the International Criminal Court, "If the result of your action leads to a just verdict, you can be sure that you will be proud and you will be praised by the human society and if God forbid you are influenced by the power of America and Western countries, you will not be able to respond to the public opinion".
Speaking this Sunday morning at the international conference "Al-Aqsa Flood and the Awakening of Human Conscience", which was held by the "Assembly of Approximation of Islamic Religions", Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi referred to the philosophy of establishing this assembly to strengthen the Islamic brotherhood, and stated, "The Assembly of Approximation of Islamic Religions while trying to promote mutual respect between religions and to strengthen Islamic brotherhood, ultimately seeks to form a single Islamic nation and establish justice for humanity".
The President considered the issue of Palestine to be the most important issue of the Islamic world today and added, "Imam Khomeini (RA) introduced the liberation of the Holy Quds as the most important issue of the Islamic world many years before the victory of the Islamic Revolution, and today this meeting is dedicated to addressing the main issue and the common issue of all branches, sects and dialects in the Islamic world; A problem that today, in addition to the Islamic world, is the first problem of the world of humanity and all awakened human consciences".
Pointing out that today all the free and awake consciences of the world are aware of the problem of the oppressed and powerful Palestine, Dr Raisi said, "In order to address the most important issue of the Islamic world, especially in the meeting of intellectuals, we must first have a correct analysis of the case. The history of cases and the beginning of the process of occupation and atrocities against the Palestinian people should be carefully reviewed".
The President stated that since the process of occupying the Palestinian land and killing people began 75 years ago, there were two approaches to this process, and said, "From the very beginning, a group of people sought to stand up and resist the atrocities of the usurper Zionist regime and their supporters and other groups were looking for a compromising with this oppression".
Dr Raisi pointed out, "The pro-compromise approach never came to fruition because their negotiating and compromising party was not and is not in any way a party of adherence to the pact. Basically, one of the characteristics of the tyrannical rule that oppresses the world and humanity today is that they are not faithful to their covenant. More than 400 statements and resolutions have been issued in the international stage against the Zionist regime, which this regime has violated all of them".
The President continued, "Against this approach, the approach of resistance was formed in Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and everywhere in the Islamic world, because the only way to face greed and oppression was resistance and standing. When the current of the oppressor does not tolerate logic and negotiation, the only logic is to stand and resist them".
Dr Raisi said, "The current of resistance was modelled after what happened in the Islamic Republic of Iran under the leadership of our great Imam Khomeini, and the standing of this nation against the Americans, the Westerners and their fake government in this land was successful, and therefore we witnessed the repeated victories of the Palestinians and the current of resistance over the Zionists in 33-day, 22-day, 8-day, and 2-day wars, and even today, the Zionist regime has not been able to achieve any of its goals despite almost 100 days of crimes, and the victors in this field will definitely be the oppressed and powerful Palestinians and the defeat belongs to the Zionists".
