AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Friday preacher at the Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque in Diraz, Sheikh Mohammad Sanqour, said that "Only cowards, vile and despicable people use assassinations as a means of to attain victory," referring to the recent assassinations carried out by the occupying Zionist entity against leaders in the axis of resistance.

He stressed, in a Friday sermon delivered on Friday, January 12, 2023, that, "the Zionist enemy will not reach victory from the assassinations it is carrying out, as the era of victories that it enjoyed has come to an end and will never return," adding that "victory is achieved by the oppressor when their opponent becomes weak, fearing harm and seeking safety and calm."

"The brutal Zionist enemy is looking for a victory to restore their delusional pride, which dissipated and vanished on the day of the Al-Aqsa Flood." He went on to say that the enemy "utilized every dirty means in the hope of finding a victory to replace the humiliation that befell it, but to no avail."

"The more it persists in killing, spilling blood, and targeting children, women, and the innocent, the more disgrace will befall it, even more than the disgrace it suffered on the day of the Al-Aqsa Flood. The more it persists in its transgression and aggression and intensifies its siege, starvation, and displacement of the defenseless people of Gaza, the more it deepens the wounds of the humiliating defeat that it suffered on the day of the Al-Aqsa Flood."

The Sheikh also commented on the trial held before the International Court of Justice in The Hague, Netherlands, to "condemn the entity for its brutal and horrific crimes and genocide that it committed against the oppressed Palestinian people intentionally, with premeditation," expressing that "The world is facing a test, which we hope it does not fail as it has failed many times in countless situations."

Sheikh Sanqur highlighted that "when an opponent is proud, mighty, loves martyrdom, trusts God's promise of victory, takes the means of strength and derives help from the Lord, the enemy will not achieve victory from him even if they seek aid from the forces of both the West and the East. He goes on to say that this is the approach that the fighters adopted and with which they made their path, therefore they will not be defeated.
